UN-LONELY PLANET LAUNCH PARTY

In July 2019, Amanda Kelly Espiritu and Dennis Sarkozy worked together to produce a launch party for Jillian Richardson to celebrate her publishing her first book “Un-lonely Planet.” They spent weeks perfecting what would be an intimate celebration gathering together the people who advised and supported Jillian through her year long journey to publishing her first book. Dennis kicked off the evening with a meditation and Jillian guided people through exercised from her book and read some excerpts throughout the evening.

In the weeks leading up to the event, Amanda and Dennis tackled PR and Sponsorship outreach, coordinated deliveries, and led a team of volunteers to help promote the event and gather “love bomb” clips from Jillian’s friends. Amanda edited together the video as a love letter to Jillian from the people who most admire and support her, even if they weren’t able to join in on the celebrations in person the day the book launched. Amanda designed collateral for Facebook and Instagram for friends and family to distribute across social media and continued to promote the book in the weeks after launch.

Food and drink were provided by sponsors GT’s Kombucha and Lesser Evil Snacks, with additional goodies provided by friends who jumped at the chance to contribute to the spread of desserts and snacks. Amanda partnered with boutique co-working space CLASS & CO to sponsor the launch party as a trusted venue partner.

This video consists of clips from Jillian's closest friends who wanted to congratulate her on the launch of her first book "Un-lonely Planet" in July 2019. This served as a surprise love letter that was played towards the end of Jillian's launch party and was a way for friends to be part of the evening and let Jillian know what they love and appreciate about her, even if they couldn't be there to celebrate with Jillian in person.
