In 2017, Chris Sparks founded The Forcing Function, a company which is empowering the next generation of entrepreneurship by transforming the way we think about work. Chris was once ranked in the top 20 online poker players in the world. Now, he trains a select number of startup executives to deploy the same techniques he used to gain a competitive edge so that they too can reach the highest limits. His clients consistently perform at their peak, accelerate their business growth, and build lives with greater freedom and purpose.
Amanda started working with Chris and The Forcing Function team as the Director of Events & Partnerships in May 2019 to accelerate the 1,000+ TFF community, all of whom are focused on business and personal growth. The TFF team specializes in conquering procrastination around doing your most important work through the building of strong habits as well as the creation of optimized productivity systems and repeatable creative routines.
After years of deconstructing and distilling the success of top performers, Chris open-sourced that knowledge in a free workbook, Experiment Without Limits in August 2019. It's packed with prompts to inspire personal reflection and step-by-step experiments for installing the habits and systems necessary for peak performance. Amanda helped the team finalize the workbook and assisted with the launch of the workbook. Chris and the TFF team are currently working towards a second book, Inflection Point, a guide to sparking a radical shift in life trajectory, set for release in 2020.
Amanda leads the team on production and organization of workshops and retreats around NYC and beyond, including the annual TFF Founders Summit conference, quarterly reviews, breakfasts with investors and VCs, and the annual end of year retreat taking place in Holbox Mexico in December 2019. She assists the team with business development and sponsorship outreach to communities within and outside of NY and advises the team on marketing and copy writing efforts for the TFF newsletter, email drip campaigns, and social media posts as TFF continues to grow.
