As 2020 wrapped up, we took a look back at our 2020 financial journey and figured out new solutions to help us tackle our financial goals in 2021.
As we forge new paths forward, it's critical for us to understand what's worked and what hasn't, and create new support systems to help us along the way. As long-time leaders in finances, investing, and negotiating, our panelists Alana Podreciks, Vonmarie Thomas, and Stella Gold invited attendees to an inspiring discussion and workshop that empowered them to make finance conversations and financial plans more manageable.
Following a brief Q&A after the panel, all three panelists will led workshops via Zoom breakout rooms and supported attendees with financial goal-setting for 2021, flipped the script on how they each talk about money, and shared resources and key insights.
This event was the first in a series of panel discussions that aims to deconstruct ideas and barriers related to Finance/Investing and explore different approaches through a diverse community, one that made finance, investing, and negotiating accessible for everyone.
ALANA PODRECIKS
Alana Podreciks is an experienced entrepreneur, investor and contemporary acrylic painter. She was one of the founding members of McKinsey's New Ventures Platform and one of the portfolio companies, OMNI, which is a geospatial machine learning solution for retail, real estate and banking. Alana consults with brands and Fortune 500 companies to foster disruptive innovation. She launched the Artist After Hours methodology and spaces, along with the 20-20 event series to build new ventures that leverage art-thinking and imagination.
